Facebooooook! (02.12.2007)

Oh, the newest (well, ok, it's old already...) fad is in the net is of course Facebook and now we have our own page in it. Nothing too new in it but it's again so Web 2.0 that it's probably Web 2.1. But don't send us any fuckin' vampire invitations, ok.

Piece of crap (05.11.2007)

The Semifinal gig didn't achive the standard set by us: "don't play crap gigs". There were moments but, well, shit happens. And it happened. Maybe next time. (Should bands confess these kind if things? Why not? It can't always be good...)

On the other hand Colm Lynch and especially Hi-Lo&Inbetween were great and the evening was fun otherwise. Thanks for the people present. Now what? Recordings, must get our album project up and running again.

Timetables and stuff (14.10.2007)

Hey, the gig is soon! Here is the timetable for the Semifinal gig on 25.10:

Colm Lynch (EIR) (showtime klo 22:15)
Streetcar (showtime klo 21:15)
Hi-Lo&InBetween (showtime klo 20:30)

So come early or you'll compeletely and utterly miss us and we'll miss you, which is a shame since we love all our fans. Both of them. Bwahaha.

If you are über-web2.0 you can also view this event on Facebook!

Hello, summer is ovah! (06.08.2007)

Oh no, it truly is and Streetcar returns from a month and a half hiatus, streches its tanned arms, puts swimming trunks back into the closet and sunglasses to the top drawer and gets back into business.

First stop: new gig coming up in Semifinal 25.10. with Irish singer-songwriter Colm Lynch. Hi-Lo&InBetween, a new two-man band from Tampere will also play and usual funny things will happen. Let's hope that this will not be like the notorius(?) Paul Berry gig, nah, this is in much more competent hands that that disaster. Colm Lynch's Finnish tour has also its own MySpace-page where you can stay tuned about what's going on and where else Colm will play and so on.

Other things happening too, but more about them later. History isn't up-to-date either, will update that soon. Really!

Dashing (18.06.2007)

Well, the dashing young men of Streetcar did a pretty dashing job in Semifinal on Saturday. At least that's what we think. And our friends. And some other people, too. Thanks for everyone present, rok rok. Etc.

Today I'll get no shleep! (16.06.2007)

Instead I'll tell you that our Semifinal gig tomorrow/today starts around 23:00 or something like that and as you know (you do, don't you?) we're playing with Flannelmouth, who call us "dashing young men" in their News-section. Ha! Gee, I hope that Ville and Mara have survived the Lemonheads gig in Tavastia. Dashing, really dashing.

Libeeeeerteeee! (18.05.2007)

Awright. Thanks for everyone in Liberte yesterday. We had a great time and it seemed that you had too. Oh, and special thanks for the Captain and Hanna and the organizers and Linnanmäki.

Liberte today! (17.05.2007)

Hey, tonight it's time for our Liberte gig. Captain Cougar will start around 21:00, then Hanna Marsh will be on with some solo piano stuff and then it's our turn to finish off the 'Operaatio:Live' -evening. Which means that we will be on around 22:30 or so.

Oh, and while you are here, there's a new history chapter on the right.

No-win situation (22.04.2007)

Well, we didn't win anything in BIT'07 Genzale was the judges' choice and very rightfully so. Awesome stuff. And Poor Jim was the people's choice, everybody hates us and we want to die. Nah, great gig, great fun, "we were all winners" as the great philosopher Ville said while grouphugging everybody and singing Queen's 'We are the champions'. Or something like that. Thank you everybody.

Saturday night fever (17.04.2007)

Some useful timetables for next Saturdays Tampere Yo-talo gig:

17.30 Garage Flower
18:00 Poor Jim
18:30 Genzale
19.00 Streetcar

So we will play last. Best position probably but also the longest wait and no beer for 4 hours. Argh. Our nerves. (Ok, maybe just one pint...)
