Copypaste time: We got call from Mr. Cavonius. I know, all these stories start with these words but Jeppe is kind of selling our gigs now so you better get used to this. It's kinda like Streetcar version of Once upon a time...
Well, anyway, this time Jeppe, God bless him, had a gig in Turkoosi on a Wednesday with a new band called boldt. That's boldt. with a small 'b' and a full stop in the end.
Considering the last multi-part adventure it was a relief that this time everything went very smoothly. Just the intended bands showed up, all of them showed up, they showed up in time, with all the gear needed and everyone did their stuff. boldt. went on first because their guitarist had to catch a train to somewhere. Sounded a bit like a mix-up of singer-songwriter stuff and some flashes of 80's hard rock or something. Nice stuff.
Streetcar's gig went really well, though the tempos might have been a bit overexcited. Some new songs premiered to a good audience response and the meininki was really good if somewhat hysterical. Everyone knew all the time what was happening next, probably because B had a pile of set lists that flowed all over stage at the start of the gig and Ville spent the remainder of the performace kicking them around. Extra credit also to boldt.'s (christ, that spelling is problematic) wonderful pornofunk drum kit. Best gig so far, or that's what at least we thought at the time...
The night continued with DJ Pelttari, DJ Brummer and DJ FunkKokoomaLevy spinning some good stuff and ended in chaotic business negotiations in Åbo and a strange new (empty) nightclub called Cocoon. When we left Turkoosi our cdr-demo was playing in repeat mode upstairs so we guess the general vibe was good...

Doing 'Custom Clothes'. Notice the pornofunk drum kit, sukunuija and 106 set lists on the floor.
There were actually loads of people in here,
this shot is just badly framed. Honest!
